This exoskeleton is enhancing runners' performance by propelling them to shave off an impressive one second in the 200m dash. The technology, detailed in a recent New Scientist article, augments leg strength to enable faster running. This development holds promising implications for athletic advancements, showcasing the potential of exoskeletons in pushing human limits and achieving remarkable speed gains.

MIT has developed an advanced AI copilot capable of monitoring human pilot performance, potentially eliminating the need for copilots. The AI system assesses and supports the pilot, enhancing safety and efficiency during flights. This innovation could reshape aviation practices by leveraging artificial intelligence to ensure optimal pilot decision-making and performance.

A study at the University of Tübingen reveals that crows exhibit a remarkable ability to use statistical inference for decision-making, a cognitive skill previously unseen in non-human animals. For the first time, researchers have observed crows making decisions based on statistical analysis of past experiences. This finding sheds new light on the cognitive capacities of these birds, showcasing their sophisticated problem-solving abilities beyond what was previously understood.

Scientists have discovered a new species of tiny wasp encased in 100-million-year-old amber, featuring peculiar cloud-like antennae. Poinar and Fernando Vega, the researchers working on the project, have several ideas about the "clouds" on the antennae, but have not yet released any findings. However, they did say “we could find no fossil or extant insect with such antennal structures, we wondered how it could still fly with that weight."
